"Very central, friendly staff. Nice room. Close to lake for a swim and good transport. There was a small fridge in the room. There was a kettle with tea and coffee sachets. We visited Lindu in Germany. About 15 minutes on the train. Loved it. Bergenz is a lovely area. Spar shop across road."

"Clean room, helpful staff, breakfast had yogurt, cereal, meats, cheese, breads, coffee and tea machine. They had options for dietary needs (soy musieli/oatmeal). Super close to train. When a/c not running could hear trains a bit, but not much. Convenient and good stop over location. "

"Nice sized rooms with large floor to ceiling windows, AC, ironing board and iron in room. Comfortable beds and pillows. We didn’t get to try out the pool and spa area but it looked nice. Ice machine was a plus. Clean spaces and wonderful staff"

"Check in at the hotel restaurant bar was slightly less convenient as staff are always leaving you alone to wait on tables. Located in an interesting part of town with overnight parking options available nearby or in the garage connected to the property."

"A beautiful fairly new hotel right in the center of the city. The underground parking is wonderful. The staff was very helpful. Room was huge - we even had a sitting room. The bathroom was fantastic - large and the shower was enclosed so no water on the floor. A/c worked well and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was extensive with lots of options for cheese, meats, fruit and eggs. It's an easy walk to the main shopping street and the lake. We had a lovely drink lakeside and then dinner a block from the hotel in a Greek restaurant of all things! But the hotel location is excellent and I highly recommend this hotel. I'd love to come back for the Opera festival in July!"

"The staff were excellent , very polite and helpful The room was very large and comfortable . My only criticism was the AC , not able to cool the room although they were kind enough to provide a portable fan The breakfast was very good , the Bakery next door was handy and a few eating places nearby The bus stop is only 1 minute away and a 10 min walk to a swim park where you can swim in the lake or use the outdoor pools for 6 Euro"

"The hotel has a fantastic location right on the lake, and the property itself is certainly unique. However, several practical issues affected our stay. The rooms became very stuffy during the hot summer days, and since there is no air conditioning or fan in the room, it was difficult to cool them down at night. The windows also lack mosquito screens, which makes it hard to leave them open for air circulation. There are not many amenities to speak of, although the breakfast and the restaurant overall are very good and priced accordingly. Overall, while the property has a special charm and a beautiful lakeside setting, we felt that it did not offer particularly good value. We stayed for five days because we had a prepaid arrangement; otherwise, we probably would have moved to a different property. It is a unique place, but for us, three days would have been enough."
