"The accommodation was superb. Unfortunately we had to curtail our stay. The approach to the property was very narrow and the situation was on a valley terrace.We worried about our dogs safety.The owners (hosts), were excellent, very pleasant and sympathetic. As we wanted to do visits on a daily basis, the thought of driving on the narrow access road at the end of every day deterred us."

"The Water Tower has great character. The upstairs living room is spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the circular walk above Tournemire - at 2 1/2 hours a good starter, the first of many further afield. There are plenty of maps and guides in the living room. "We stayed in one of the gites. The surroundings are stunning- distant views across the Herault in a wonderfully renovated building. Autumn chestnuts all around and calm surrounds. About 15 mins drive from pretty Olargues. Le Chene backs on to another gite and when this was occupied, we could hear everything they were doing.
