The “double”shower was absolutely amazing and so spacious Everything inside the room was well kept and clean !! The stag is a lovely country pub with a restaurant inside too and definitely did not disappoint!!! The food and drinks were absolutely amazing. A small menu which always a great sign as the food would be great and it definitely was !! The staff was quick and couldn’t do enough for you either. "

"I loved my stay, and it exceeded my expecations. The place is in a strange little back street which might look unpromising, but it's dead quiet and actually ideally placed just minutes from both the station and the cathedral. The place is very well kept, and simple but stylish. My appartment was like a Travelodge bed room and bathroom, but with a well-equipped kitchen and a living room thrown in too. The reception staff were all very pleasant and helpful and, overall, it was extremely good value for money. It would be my first choice on a return trip to the city."
