"The host was very nice and spoke good English. Our room was cramped and somewhat dated. The toilet was separate from shower area and both doors had to be closed to navigate around the bed. Breakfast was great. There was a close-by restaurant where we had a dinner. It was really very nice for the price!"

"Stayed for one night on journey heading South. Clean and comfortable hotel room. Evening meal was very good but with a limited menu, especially for vegetarian friends we were with. Good position with plenty of parking and small garden. Our dog enjoyed the stay as well ! Have also booked for our return journey."

"The staff were extremely friendly and the breakfast simple but adequate with something for everyone. The hotel is very tired and shabby. Secure night time parking was a bonus! "

"Mathilde was a wonderful hostess, she and her sweet dogs made us feel like we were family. She is so helpful & kind, we really enjoyed her & her hospitality. Her home is nestled away in the country away from everything & everyone. When you drive through the huge metal gates it’s like you’ve stepped into a fairytale! Everything is so beautiful!!!
