"An eccentric small hotel. The rooms are comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. There is no aircon so some of the rooms can be difficult to keep cool in sunny weather. The breakfast is menu based rather than a buffet and is very good although I would reccomend giving the cafetiere coffee a miss and going for something from the esspresso machine which is much better. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent although, like so many places there was over loud and completely un neccessary music. Brockley Hall is an ideal base for a few days exploring the area or walking sections of the Cleveland Way or coastal path."

"We had a corner room with a wonderful.view of the infinity bridge. The parking felt safe and we really appreciated the EV chargers. The waffle maker at breakfast was a noce touch. "

"We have just arrived back home from the most amazing stay at St Hilda's. We stayed in the Cairo room and the pictures do not do it justice it was just beautiful, the attention to detail is amazing. The bed was extremly comfy, we had such a lovely restful nights sleep. The room was absolutely spotless as well and has a really detailed information booklet with places to eat and drink, taxis and takeaways in it which was really handy. The lady that check us in was so friendly and made us feel really comfortable and was more than happy to answer any of our questions. The continental breakfast was really good, there were so many options to choose from and you can fill a tray and take it up to your room if you wanted to as well. We will definitely be back! Thanks for such an amazing nights getaway"

"We have stayed at White Horse Farm Inn before and have enjoyed our time there. It doesn't pretend to be anything other than a lovely village inn. It is a typical village pub of it's age and time. It has the most spectacular scenery as it's stands on a plateau up the hill on the road leading to Rosedale Chimneys. Absolutely beautiful! Our room was the very large family one so we had plenty of space. The staff were fantastic. Friendly Yorkshire folk, nothing was too much trouble. The food was well cooked and there was a lot of it. (Smaller portions can be asked for) which we had. Overall we were not disappointed and we would stay here again. A beautiful part of North Yorkshire. Thank you"

"I am a regular at the Captain Cook Inn. It has an unique ambience which refects Staithes village itself. Bed extremely comfortable but the duvet was a higher tog than the heatwave needed."

"The hosts, Andy and Ann are very friendly and approachable and ready to sort out any issues. I enjoyed the full English breakfast every morning which was cooked to order and a self service area for tea, coffee, toast etc. Since my last visit a couple of years ago the Wi-Fi has been much improved and the small TV has been replaced with a 40" smart TV. The grounds are always well kept. The only downside was using Expedia for the first time. They told me my room was booked but Saltburn House weren't sent my details. They could see that the room was booked but couldn't initially assign it to me, but after some minutes this was sorted out. "
