"Really enjoyed the stay, the yurt was great and the spa sort of expensive but at the same time where else gives you full ownership of a spa for 3 hours? Not many places so for that I would say it was worth it. Very clean shower facilities were great. "Very clean and fully equipped lodge. Comfy bed, table and chairs settee and small tv. The property is central to all our needs, with great pubs, restaurants and an amazing air museum all within a short drive.. Evenings by the fire pit, are a must. We will definitely be back ........soon"

"Really didnt have anything good for this location. Tried messaging the hosts and was completely ignored and received no replies. Due to a family emergency we eventually couldn't stay. But even though contacting through Expedia and messaging g direct they totally ignored our messages. Which means they probably dont care about their guests or their reputation Please Avoid Avoid Avoid"

"This was our second visit to this lovely cottage. It is very quaint and cosy. The setting is very peaceful - lots of birds singing and rabbits in the field. There is a busy road next to the cottage but that didn’t detract from the feeling of tranquility. The hot tub is fabulous. It’s a great base to explore the local area. It’s so easy to get a bus into Pocklington which is a lovely market town with good shops, pubs and restaurants. We had a great holiday and will definitely come back in...

"David was an excellent host, and the cottage was a lovely place to stay. Very comfortable accommodation close to local amenities and a lovely canal to walk down with pooch right outside the door. Although there is no designated parking, street parking is a 10 second walk away, so this wasn't an issue. There was even a guitar on the wall to have a relaxing noodle. Thanks again David"

"From the moment I arrived, the scenery was beautiful. The lake with various different birds, the trees, forest etc. I loved the cabin, just perfect along with the outdoor fire pit/bbq where you buy logs through an app. I will definately be visiting again. Loved it 😊😊😊😊😊"
