"My partner and I came to Bar Harbor to hike, bike the carriage roads, and have a comfortable clean place to rest each night. This property is perfect for travelers planning to be out and about most of their stay. Perfectly sized for two and has just what you need. Very helpful to have washer/dryer in site. You can grab laundry detergent from the gas station just down the street. Great communication. Very clean. Will definitely be back again."

"Thoughtfully appointed, everything you might need is there, comfortable studio, clean, neat. The only difficulty I had was negotiating the stairs and unlocking/opening the 2 doors while carrying bags. A wider decking at the top step would have been welcomed."

"The cottage was nice for what we needed which was a place to shower and sleep. It was a little further from Acadia National Park (about 45 minute drive one-way). Allen was very kind and welcoming. The grounds were in need of some care and we are pretty sure there was a mouse in the cottage."

"The property was clean and as listed upon arrival. Our son loved having the water right up the the house and being able to fish. The house was well furnished, had extra blankets and adequate kitchen supplies. Any drawbacks were minor; limited food storage (pantry) space and limited local entertainment .
