"The staff at Statt Hotel are truly lovely, from front desk, restaurant and cleaning crew everyone you meet is friendly and helpful. Rooms are a little on the small side but have everything you need. Breakfast is included and has something for everyone. We travelled with our dog and he was treated like family. We will be back again"

"A lovely hotel in the middle of Kristianstad opposite the amazing park. Our room was spacious and very comfortable with toiletries (a rarity in hotels these days) and a heated towel rail in the bathroom. Breakfast is included at the weekend and it’s got everything from eggs, bacon, Swedish meatballs to cheese/cold meats to healthy options such as chia pudding/overnight oats and nuts and seeds. But the best thing is the staff, especially the delightful Sarah on the front desk who helped us so much. We had been marooned with a broken down car over the 3-day midsummer holiday and she helped us rebook our onward journey and suggested things to do in the area. "

The owners / managers of this fine guest house make sure that all their guests enjoy a solid good visit, they (Amanda and Mike) are very competent and gracious. The property is an elegant yet-functional Skåne country lodging, everything needed is here. Beds are comfy, the place is very clean and welcoming, and dinners are high-end yummy. Plus the region surrounding Vittsjö is a very pretty and quite historically interesting area. This place is very good value for the money.... we will be back."
