The little cabin was very cute and cozy! And having a private hot tub was really nice! Everything was very clean and we really couldn’t have asked for a better weekend getaway!

My family and I stayed here for a small weekend get-a-way. The kids (8 & 7) had the best time with a small fire and then the hot tub each evening. The cabin is nicely furnished, clean, pest free, & exactly as advertised.

If you’re looking to relax and get away from reality temporarily, this is an amazing place to be! Communication with the property manager was on point, the privacy is much appreciated, and there’s a lot to do for everyone of all ages!

Nice little cabin. It is RIGHT off the road. It is also 5 minutes from resturaunts, bars, shops, hiking trails, the lake and the rivers. We were able to enjoy a nice campfire and make smores every night before a quick dip in the community hot tub and have coffe on the porch every morning as the sun rises.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean, well maintained, simply but tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. However, I had trouble getting my partner out of the recliner (he said was incredible). We enjoyed being able to be outside on the porch and to cook our own meals. Close to everything and very affordable. We were very happy with our experience and will return again.

We booked this as a last minute getaway with our children. We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and just enough room for our family of four. The hot tub was very nice. We enjoyed using the fire pit and grill as well. The house is not right on the water but it's a quick drive. The house is very convenient to downtown Hochatown. We would stay here again!

Owners were extremely helpful! I read many reviews about ants and a smell but there were no ants and the only smell we could smell was like a wood smell from all the wood which is not a bad thing! It’s a cabin!! Very clean met all of our needs. Did have a problem with the lock battery dying I think but owner was very helpful and got us taken care of! Would definitely recommend this place.

It was perfect for what we needed! To avoid anyone having to drunk snuggle, I brought an air mattress for me to sleep which was perfect! We each had our own bed! The fridge was perfect for keeping our adult beverages chilled! The AC’s made it a meat locker! The water pressure in the shower is well… I won’t say what we said (LOL!). I will say, be prepared! If you happen to leave food out on the counter like we did, you will have some very small friends visit you BUT you’re in the woods so that’s to be expected! Overall, it was perfect for us and we look forward to coming back!

The cabin was easy access. The entry and exit door security was great. Wifi was really great. I had no cell phone service but got hooked up over Wifi for my phone, computer, Roku, etc. The kitchen supplies and dishes were good. The couch was a little uncomfortable because it is a pull out bed also. It was difficult to sit on. The bed was acceptable. There were lots of blankets (low temp was 35). The bathroom was clean. The tub needs a rubber mat to use for taking showers. It is a bit slippery. The shower head is low and a average height person of 5' 10" has difficulty getting under it to rinse you hair.

Nice cozy lil cabin. I always like to start out with positives. The place felt cozy and warm. I liked the decor although the pictures needed dusting and needs a new fresh update on flower arrangements above bed kept me sneezing all night. I had to clean out the bath tub 3 xs due to all the slime build up. My son took a shower before me and unfortunately got itchy feet! Towels smelled somewhat fresh. Need bathroom rugs almost fell getting out of bathtub! Thanks for leaving a can of ant spray because when we came back from an outing, there were crumbs left over on counter leaving a long ant trail all over kitchen counter. All wood cabin was awesome especially my first time. Went to store to purchase candles and febreze because it smelt moldy, my son mentioned that to me as well. Thanks for the porch swing and the BBQ grill although we never used it the grill but swing was pleasant. Thank you for essentials, i.e. dish soap, trash bags, broom and dustpan, etc. Please look into the spa asap! First night i blew it off but second night I took notice of how dirty it is. Spa needs to be drained, scrubbed, and sanitized immediately! Everywhere we sat we felt slimy! Areas on the spa looked very dirty and need of cleaning! Sadly it rained and alot of water build up by the entrance gate of spa area. We had to jump over several large water puddles to get into the gate area. Then the gate closed quickly behind us, locking us out and having to reach over the gate and feel our way to unlock

Although the listing is accurate, and we did not call the owner regarding maintenance issues during our stay, the issues we had are things we shouldn't have had to call about in the first place. They are things that should be looked at after each guest leaves as part of routine management of a property.
The property needs a deep cleaning and several maintenance repairs. During our stay we found several unclean dishes (a knife with dried food all over it, a plate with food stuck on it, and the dish drain had stuck on food). The sponge given to wash our dishes was brown, old, and dirty. The fan on the stove hood didn't work. There were hardly enough dishes or cookware to prepare meals. All knives except for one were so used and dull they wouldn't cut through anything (a tomato, an onion). The utensils all need replacing. No grilling utensils were provided.
The cabin was full of dust. The blinds had a
Layer of dust all over them. The linens, blankets, and futon cover need replacing. There are visible stains. There was 1 out of 4 lights working in the bathroom. One of the shower handles (hot) came off in our hands twice as we tried turning on the shower.
The location has no visible signs to know where to enter and it took time to find. The driveway is not marked, so if you are coming in the dark for the first time you would likely never find it.
We were disappointed in this cabin. I hope the owner will fix the maintenance issues and hire better cleaning crews.

I read the reviews prior and have a few thoughts:
1. Mildew smell. I grew up going to cabins with the family and this one was no different in that it is a cabin in a very wooded area. Nothing over whelming, but I brought a candle. 2. Hot tub - The hot tub isn't attached to the cabin, in fact it's used by at least two other cabins for use. It is covered but sits below a mass of pine trees. 3. The cabin was right off the highway and a little noisy at times. The directions of where the cabin is with respect to the entrance could be better, we had to stop and ask someone where it was....it has it's own "private drive" literally looking at the highway, look it up on Google Earth prior to your stay. Overall, great stay & clean and we enjoyed it very much as our first time in the area.

Property was clean. Hot tub had jets that didn’t work and lighting was shorted out. Said it accommodates 4 but there were only two towels and no sheets for Futon. Kitchen was sparsely furnished. Was blocked out of using Netflix because others were using it and was maxed out. Was not horrible but was not up to par with other places I rented in Broken Bow.

The property was difficult to find, the mattress and couch futon you could feel springs in bed horrible night sleep. Hot tub was not clean enough to get in. Overall for the 700.00 total we paid for a weekend get away it wasn’t worth it. We will keep using VRBO and hope to find another good property for a weekend get aways

I am no stranger to Broken Bow and the cabins. Most of the time we fo as a group be decided to opt for something smaller. The cabin didn't have central heating. There were hardly any cleaning supplies. No extra towel. No washer or dryer and the hot tub, which was suppose to be private was accessibility for us and the cabin next door.
