"Wonderful stay, very nice, polite and helpful staff which is quite out of the ordinary for the Netherlands where service is generally and mostly inexistent. To illustrate this, I reported a leak problem with my shower a few hours after checking in. The concierge reported it promptly but maintenance chose to ignore it and it was not fixed until the last evening of my 3-day stay and my reporting the problem 4 times… This kind of situation should never happen in a hotel of this level. "The hotel is ideally located next to Centraal Station. The canal boats are opposite the hotel entrance, and lovely restaurants/ bars & souvenir shops are only a short walk away. The hotel is basic but clean and bright. I will definitely stay here next time I visit Amsterdam."

"The room was clean and all we needed it for. But the layout of the bed was not the most comfortable, with having to reachout over my partner. The check in was really efficient and being within walking distance from the airport for an early morning flight was fit for purpose."
