"This place was a gem! We loved our stay here for the night, too bad we didn't stay longer. The staff were super friendly, and the charm of this place was over the top. We stayed in one of the chalet's, a one bedroom unit and it was so cozy and inviting. The restaurant food and staff were excellent, and the live traditional music was so fun to listen to. They even provided a service to pick us up from the chalet and take us back when we wanted to go back to our room. We highly recommend this as a stopover if you are up in Cape Breton!"

"I loved the place. It was very nice and cozy. Would have been nice if we could have used the wood stove. The weather was cold and the place didn't heat up as good as I would have liked. It was very clean and we had everything we needed. It would be nice if there was a hot tub on the deck... just an idea. Host was good though and accommodated all our needs. Thought che k in and check out times good be adjusted and he was very accommodating letting us come a little earlier and leave a bit later. I found the time was a bit late for check in so we arrive an hour early and left an hour or so late. Host was very agreeable. Comfortable beds! Would enjoy the area better if the weather had been warmer."

"Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin! The only thing better than the home and the grounds are Gus and Gert - they are so welcoming, generous, and gracious! We hope to be back many times."

"Nathan and Shelley’s place is not only in the perfect location for your Cape Breton trip, it is the cutest house we stayed at during our East Coast trip. The 2 bedrooms are super cozy, and the pictures don’t do justice to the amount of space available including both a living, dining, kitchen, and family room (overlooking a cute river in the back). While we did have a hiccup due to the crazy storm, Nathan was immediately responsive and showed up with help! Luckily we got to meet him in person, and my father still goes on about his new friend he met. It is super close to gas, groceries, and the dancing goat cafe (unfortunately was closed due to the storms during our stay, however have heard great things). I would not hesitate even for a minute about booking their space! We are looking forward to our next trip out and staying here!"
