"We booked the Paddocks which had a self contained very well equipped kitchen in an enclosed courtyard It provided a very comfortable overnight stay. We couldnt fault it. We arrived early as we had booked Sunday lunch at the George which was excellant and Wayne allowed us to leave our car there. Wayne was very friendly and not intrusive at all. "Stay was lovely, just some odd elements which were a bit strange! Make sure you arrive in good time to check in early, and double-check what the morning process is for leaving - main pub remained locked and egress was through the rear fire escape - noone in sight so left key in room. The room was lovely - really well laid out, roomy, and clearly well-thought out; lots of little things that made the place really nice. Weak spot was the bathroom - doesn't have a proper door. "We rented this house for my daughter's hen weekend the house was stunning in an amazing location with great facilities. We could not find fault with the house it accommodated 20 of us amply. All types of celebrations are catered for here from a formal dinner, to a party to a film night and even quiet relaxation in the pool and hot tub. "Nigel was very accommodating n friendly. The place was clean n comfortable, our two golden retrievers were made very welcome. The pub was close but not noisy. The post office come local shop had everything you needed. The people we met in the village were all very friendly. We will definitely go back"
