"The staff was as personable as they were professional. The location is ideal, within walking distance of the Martha's Vineyard ferry and several really nice restaurants. My only regret was the bed; it was perhaps the most uncomfortable I've ever slept on. Aside from that, my stay was pleasant."

"We loved the location, the breakfast was good and the staff were excellent. However, the outdoor garage was never emptied and the ice machines didn’t work. They need more maintenance staff. Also, somehow they need to create an outdoor patio for guests to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. Overall though, we had a great stay and will definitely return."

"The property is an old motel that has been meticulously refurbished and tastefully decorated. The room is smaller than a modern motel but is very functional and pleasant. The outdoor pool was a very pleasant space and well maintained. The staff was very pleasant, informative and helpful. Unlike many many modern facilities, housekeeping maintained the room daily. If I return to the area I would surely stay at the Colonial Inn again."
