"This is a really nice place to stay. Located in a small village close to nature with a lovely riel overlooking the river. A nice change from my normal stays at the normal hotel chains. The host was really nice and service minded. "

"Nice location and quiet surroundings. I arrived around 4.30pm to find no one around and had yet to receive my email with lock key code, I know arrival was stated 5pm but I would expect to receive the code day before. Message arrived shortly after and I was then able to know which lodge and code. Spacious and immaculately clean, equipped for short self catering stay as necessary. Two coffee pods and teabags offered as welcome. Shortly after I arrived the owner/reception staff arrived to check all...

"Absolutely couldn't wish for a better place to relax and recharge our 'parent' batteries. Beautiful place with a great and friendly service. Completely tranquil and romantic. Really enjoyed our stroll throught the vineyards and around the estate with while playing a fun game of quiz. Thoroughly recommend this place, in parcular to couples. "

"It was a historic setting in beautiful countryside though the old Chateau was very old and we were put in a musty room with no air circulation. The host was very inhospitable constantly arguing he didn't hear about Vrbo and demanded we pay him in cash even when I showed him Vrbo had withdrawn the money from my credit card account. We left after the first night with him chasing after us trying to force us to go to Daon instead of Chateau Gontier where we were to attend a wedding. "

"Staff are great , rooms comfortable and breakfast is a good start . Parking is very restrictive but I parked opposite in Saint Laud , great parking here , 2 minute walk to HDF .. 👍"
