"Room was alright, but got eaten alive by mosquitos overnight which wasn’t great, and when I walked over for dinner and a drink the bar / restaurant was all shut up. It wasn’t late. Place is just on the highway so unless you fancy a walk to the neighbouring hotel (15mins) or another drive you wont find any alternatives for food / drink. "

Parking was on street but safe and our apartment was accessed through a small door off the street and through a covered passageway that we referred to as "the cave". "Nice hotel definitely worth the money. The bare-bones room was efficient if not homey. Our dogs were made welcome too. The food truck offering dinner is a nice touch. The hotel sits on a narrow street between two drawbridges and the port. Not much street appeal but the off street parking is a plus. And the canal is only a block away with harbor views."
