"We did not stay; the room was clean-ish but had the overpowering smell of pinesol. The building is being renovated and felt defunct. The pool was closed. Our rooms air conditioner unit squealed when turned on and the door would not close without being slammed hard into the frame. We opted to leave and chose another property, the front desk staff was kind and understanding, and gave us a full refund. I appreciated the compassion from staff, given the circumstances. "
