Hampton Cottage

Experience a charming country atmosphere at the tranquil Hampton Cottage. Close to the centre of Bright, Pioneer Park and the river. This budget family retreat has plenty of space to relax, unwind and recharge those batteries. Pets are welcome but please note that the property is not fenced. Hampton Cottage is ideal for a small family or a couple looking for a relaxing escape in Bright.

This property is managed on behalf of the owner by Bright Holidays (part of the Dickens Real Estate group).

BEDDING CONFIGURATION (Sleeps 6-8 guests)
Bedroom 1 - Queen bed
Bedroom 2 - Queen bed
Rumpus Room - 2 x King Single beds. There are also 2 x king single trundles under these two beds. If you wish to use them linen and blankets/pillows are provided on site and you will need to make the beds up.
*All linen and towels provided.

KITCHEN & DINING
You will find electric cooking, a refrigerator, a microwave and kitchen cupboards well-stocked with cutlery, crockery and cookware. The dining table seats 6-8.

There is no need to pack the gadget charger, just bring your cable, plug it in to the USB power point located in the kitchen and charge your phone, iPad or camera.

LOUNGE
With plenty of seating and a smart TV you will be more than comfortable in the open plan living/dining/kitchen area. WIFI is available.

HEATING & COOLING
A split system in the lounge area keeps the cottage cool in Summer and warm in Winter.

BATHROOM
Newly renovated bathroom featuring walk in shower, bath, vanity and toilet. Another toilet located separately.

OUTDOORS
A quiet location with a large leafy front and backyard and within walking distance to Pioneer Park and the river. The cottage features a generous back deck with 6 burner gas BBQ and outdoor dining set. A firepit in the front yard is a great place to gather and toast marshmallows. You can access Morses Creek and the surrounding bike paths from the rear of the property.

Pets are welcome but please note that the property is not fenced.
To ensure that Bright Holidays can continue to offer pet friendly accommodation, please pick up after your pets.

Freshly renovated laundry is equipped with a washing machine, dryer, ironing board & iron.

PARKING
Off-street parking and a carport complete this holiday property.

Amazing Australia Day weekend. This place is so well set out with a fantastic front and back yards. Access to the creek from the back yard is great asset. Very relaxing venue. Love it.

Winter stay

Very nice small cottage in a quiet court. Some wildlife in the roof/ceiling caused some noise at night time unfortunately which was slightly agitating. Bring slippers, as the floorboards were extremely cold in the mornings. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Happy stay

The house was extremely clean and location was great everything was advertised was exactly what was there very happy with out stay and definitely look to visit again in the future ( just there is no yellow and red rubbish bins so we have to Cary our rubbish with use )

Fun in Bright

This was a conveniently located property, had everything you could need. Well appointed kitchen, split heating and cooling system efficient and kept everyone warm during the long weekend when it was chilly. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

Hampton Cottage.

This property was comfortable in every way and suited our sized group. A beautiful Autumnal-Parkland setting with walkway down to the river. A child’s delight to play amongst the leaves and very dog friendly and safe as well. Excellent location.

Great little house

Family summer stay

We absolutely loved our stay here with our kids and our dog in what is a beautiful quiet neighbourhood. The house is super close to town but feels the opposite. Bright is unreal

Great location & beautiful garden

Nice location only a few mins from the main street. Great size for our family of 4. Lovely gardens.Only thing letting it down was the cleanliness, which I have flagged with the agent.

Enjoyable and comfortable stay

This was a great place to stop for a couple nights as part of a longer road trip. Great yard and enjoyed the walk along the river. Attention to a few extra details would make it even better. Our bus enjoyed the poker and triominoes, but a larger selection of games would help. More care to check BBQ gas bottle would help as it ran out before we were done on the first cook. Overall we'd recommend. Thanks for our stay.

Great getaway.

Fantastic and quiet location. Great for kids with the river to explore at the rear of the property and large front/rear gardens. Fire pit was a bonus. Highlight was a Kookaburra, Parrots, Currawongs and Magpies all flying down at the one time for some left over strawberries we threw on the front lawn.

Great Location let down by unmaintained property

Overall this property was clean and functional in a quiet court location backing onto the creek. House needs tlc windows,carpets, couch was grotty, shower has massive water hammer. Beds where comfortable and heater keeps property toasty warm. Found ratsak bag on floor easily accessible to pets, not good enough for property thats pet friendly lucky I spotted it early.

Bright getaway

Great spot to stay, close to Morse's creek which the kids loved exploring. Very quiet area. House would benefit from intensive pest control as mice could be heard in the ceiling all night and spiders were an issue.
