Rib Waters Inn
10/10 Excellent
"I just needed a place to sleep and this Inn more than fit the bill. Easy no-contact check in. Spacious. Clean. A couple bugs got in but that’s to be expected in that area and not an issue with the hotel. The room had a fly swatter. I found the beds to be comfortable. If I find myself in that area again I would stay there. It’s a quick walk across the street to a gas station for ice, food, anything else you may need. I read some reviews beforehand about noise, so I brought ear plugs but honestly I didn’t hear much of anything from the neighboring units."

Moose Lodge at Lake Mohawksin

"We had a nice week spent at the Moose Lodge with family. When we entered the cabin, it was very clean and we soon found out that we overpacked because the cabin was well stocked with just about anything we could think of. The host was great and communicated in a timely manner for any questions we had. We were surprised to find the shed down by the lake stocked with life vests, fishing poles, water floats, cornhole, and many other things to do. The cabin has much to offer to keep kids entertained between the board games, puzzles, pool table, ping pong, movies, slot machine, and many water activities at the lake. Our granddaughter also had fun at the local playground and splash pad at Washington park. We did not end up catching as many fish as we had liked, but were starting to figure out some spots before we left. If taking a boat out be sure to look at the lake map in the coffee table to see the areas where stumps are possible. There are a few that were not visible. We moved slowly at idle speed in those areas knowing we may bump into a few stumps. As always, time went by way too fast, but we would recommend this cabin and plan to stay again sometime."

"This cabin was great-very clean, and much more spacious than I thought it would be. The view of the lake was beautiful to wake up to every morning! The host was so thoughtful and there were plenty of indoor and outdoor toys for the kids- some unopened and never even played with yet. Our kids were never bored! It was secluded, quiet, and everything we wanted for a nice, quiet getaway! There is a beautiful beach less than 10 minutes away, and a very popular ice cream shop (The Windmill ) within a 20 minute drive. We loved the option of being so close to Rhinelander, Tomahawk, and Minocqua to spend the day in different areas and then come back to do some swimming and hang out around the cabin."

"My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Timber Inn! It is clear that the new owners are putting a lot of time and care into the space. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the amenities were thoughtful, and the staff extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again when we're in the area!"
Phillips Cabin w/ Lake Views & Private Dock!

"We really enjoyed our stay here. Things were nice and clean, and there were many things available that are missing at other places (think kitchen untensils, outdoor supplies....things you might not think to pack, but need!). The location was wonderful, with a great dock. Cast as far as you can to hook into the bigger ones! If we come back to this area, we will definitely be staying here again! I am already missing drinking my coffee while listening to the loons sing."
