"Absolutely lovely hotel in a stunningly restored Renaissance palazzo. We booked for one night and ended up staying three nights. Spotless clean, excellent service, and tasteful rooms in a scenic little town with few tourists. Ideal for day trips to Asti, Alba, Fossano, Cuneo, and other culturally relevant sites in the Piemonte. We fell in love with Mondovi, its excellent restaurants, and the calm genius loci. "To sit and have breakfast outside by the pool was absolutely wonderful. The view from our room across the pool and over the gardens towards the sea was very special. The sea was very close ...just down a slight hill and across the road so no need to pay for a sun lounger if you fancied dip at the end of a day exploring.The staff are kind and helpful. The atmosphere is one of calm and i would absolutely go back in an instant."
