Amazing views and peaceful

Hotel was beautiful and traditional, amazing views. Staff were very helpful and polite, extra touches were amazing. Food was excellent. Walk down to the lake was 6mins walk but a steep walk back. There is a short route up some steps.

Good Beautiful location. Our room had sweeping unobstructed views of Lake Brienz. Very friendly staff, especially Anubhav who went out of his way to assist us with our every need and request. Nice large rooms with decks and a hot tub. Comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast buffet included in cost of the room. Conveniently located within walking distance to the train station. Note that the hotel is located up the hillside so older people or those with mobility issues need to contact the hotel ahead of time for assistance. On-site restaurant had a great dinner menu. Bad Brienz is a small village with little to nothing to do in the evenings.

There is lock of "NO smoking policy" I had a family room with a hot top on the balcony, others travelers can smoke on balcony without any consequences per hotel's staff. There is only "No smoking" inside the room but not anywhere outside. I would not recommend to any traveling with family.

Perfect hotel for a Swiss weekend get-away

Really nice, relaxed and welcoming hotel in Brienz. We got a lovely room with amazing view over the lake and a big bath tub. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

Badezimmer nicht so sauber und zum Zimmer passt eine eingebaute 'Plastikdusche' mit Duschvorhang nicht so richtig. Was sehr gut gelöst ist: Frühstück zu Coronazeiten, sehr gutes Konzept.

What a beautiful place with breath taking views! Super convenient with just a short walk down into the town below. Plenty of places to eat, hike and explore. This was our absolute favorite stay while in Switzerland.
