"Our second trip to this property with the grandkids to visit family. Being pet friendly and having a good pool were crucial to our returning, even though our family moved 30 minutes further away. Cleanliness was fine, breakfast was good. Very disappointed, however, at check-in, as I (grandfather) was ill and had to delay my travel one day, so, when my wife arrived at the property, the front desk said they "shouldn't check them in" due to my name being on the reservation. A simple phone call to me would have sufficed. As a former hotel manager, that is not something you say to customers who pay a lot of money to stay with you. I didn't plan to be sick on travel day two months ago when I reserved the rooms."
