Very few people in this town. Great views all around and fantastic day drives in every direction. Not a place for those that don’t like cold weather! Close enough to June Lake of Mammoth for eating and drinking.

"Beautiful landscape. For what you pay for. Rooms are average . Had a small problem with the shower not draining correctly, but got resolved very fast. Staff are super kind there. Slept very well. On the edge of time and civilization. Fascinating history, uniquely American West. Surrounded by some of the most beautiful and geologically interesting terrain in the country. The whole area is a museum, both historical and geological.

Bridgeport is a quaint, small town. If travelling during the winter though, be prepared for very few food choices. Most places are closed.
