Sprawling home on large, 18-acre estate in Brewster, near the bay beaches

Nestled on Brewster’s Old King’s Highway, in the heart of Brewster, is this expansive, private, 17.5-acre estate with a massive landscaped back yard, incredible walking access to pristine Bay beaches and tidal flats at Ellis Landing, direct access to the Cape Cod Rail Trail, and 800’ private shore front on secluded Blueberry Pond, one of Brewster's best kept secrets.

The property is immediately adjacent to the Ocean Edge Resort Spa, on Main Street. It is capped by a lovingly restored, art-adorned, book-filled, 5 bedroom, 2 bath family home which sleeps 10 comfortably. Beach gear available for use includes two kayaks, three bicycles, two windsurfers, a light metal fishing boat, and a smaller hand-cart-mounted skiff for use on the Pond, with rods, reels and lightweight fishing tackle.

A gorgeous, updated and fully-equipped marble eat-in kitchen and great room is open and inviting, as is the large, furnished deck and additional stone terrace and breezeway facing the massive, private back yard. Pet-friendly, with expansive grounds and even an old-fashioned wood tree swing, this is a much-loved, multi-generational Brewster family property and an awesome opportunity for an extended family or multi-family stay.

We look forward to hosting your family or group in historic Brewster!

Fantastic property that served our family very well!
Great location! Easy access to the rail trail for biking, quick ride to the beach right down the street. Everything was conveniently located in close proximity to the house. Home is nice and spacious for a larger group. The back deck is great for lounging outside. Beautiful, newer kitchen was well used. Homeowner is a thorough communicator. Thank you, Jim, we had a wonderful stay!

Biking in Brewster
The house was very comfortable for 8 people. 3 generations and we found lots to do. Jim was very helpful and we enjoyed his lengthy instructions about the house, the suggestions of activities and restaurants. Being on the rail trail was an added bonus.

A great winter get away
We had our family of 10 with age ranges from 3 - 80. The property was located well near grocery shops, restaurants, and fire wood. The owner was highly responsive and resolved any questions raised quickly. The two best things about the property for us were - The Kitchen and the bedrooms. Plenty of beds for everyone to sleep comfortably. Kitchen has all the needed utensils, equipment, silverware. We had a great time.

Thanksgiving stay
Beautiful house and awesome property. Close to everything. Would have liked to stay longer and wish I had brought binoculars for viewing the birds in the pond. There were several varieties of ducks but I would have liked to be able to identify them better.

Sunsets & Serenity
This was the perfect spot for our family vacation . My parents, siblings, and our spouses & children decided on this place. We loved the location, we took the backyard path to the bike trail everyday. The beach was a short walk away. We brought our car down to drop off our chairs etc. then walked or biked down. Ellis Landing Beach was the perfect spot to watch the sunset. We ate dinner in the back deck almost every night and enjoyed the privacy of the sprawling backyard. The house was clean and had plenty of accommodations for all of us to have our space. There were 7 adults, 2 teens, and a 6 year old. We all had a wonderful week! Jim was on hand to answer the few questions I had, and responded right away.

Beautiful property, great location.
This house had plenty of room for the entire family, and enough yard and deck space to host extended family in the afternoon and evenings. Our host brought fresh hanging flowers and replaced a broken firepit one day as well. He truly cared about us having the best experience and the property looking great. Like all of Cape Cod, there were busy times of day on the road out front, but it was never noisy, and it wasn't impossible to get in and out of the driveway. We have stayed in the Yarmouth area in years past and we found that Brewster is much more "central" to the things we like to do. We were much closer to the National Seashore, the Wellfleet Audubon Sanctuary, downtown Chatham and even the couple locations in Yarmouth we like to visit were easy to get back to. Great bookstore, coffee, bakery, beach and restaurants all within walking distance and the Cape Cod Rail trail is accessible from a walking path in the back yard OR just a short ride/walk down the street. We will definitely be considering this property again when we return to the Cape.
