"Two families traveling together found this home to be the perfect home base from which to up and down the Rhine to see castles, castles, vineyards, and more castles. This hillside house was very comfortable, featured a lovely terrace surrounded by grapevines. Situated in the small country village of Sauerthal if felt as though our visit brought the most excitement the townsfolk had seen in ages. This is a perfect location for visiting Rhineland if you want a quiet, rustic, authentic experience."

"This property has it all. It was a pleasure to stay. If you’re not from a big city, the sound of the local transportation, trams, buses and sirens can be noisy but I’m used to this so it wasn’t a bother. "

"The Houseboat Villa Nautica is not for everyone. My wife and I are 70 and enjoy staying in unique accommodations such as the tented camps in Kenya. We are self-sufficient and are comfortable living out of our two carry-on bags. We own property in the Rocky Mountains in Canada and love having our morning coffee on our deck watching the wildlife that call this part of the world home. "A very convenient hotel near the transport hub and allowed us to walk to the river and see some of the sights. Allowed us then to go into the old part of the city the next day and visit a museum. Staff were very helpful and nice. Room was comfortable and v clean"

Great staff and lovely hotel!

"We had a great stay with such friendly and helpful people. They went out of their way to make sure that our room was ready early, which was so kind. We needed it early to make it to a wedding. Very professional and nice. It's within walking distance from the train station and downtown. We loved their pool/sauna area. Our only mild complaint was that the pool is quite small and the hot tub was not working. We would still highly recommend Novotel! "
