"Wonderful hotel. Perfect location and unique in that there is a beautiful area with grass and trees right by the lake. All the hotel staff were superb and make you feel like you're on holiday at all times. The superior double room was great with amazing views of the lake and mountains. "All in all, it was simply amazing place, very good service and awesome location. The minor thing comes from the booking system from hotels.com ( apparently it’s Expedia). When you book for a 2 adults and a kid, you do mention that the age of the kid. In our instance our daughter is 10 but on the booking it stated infant / baby. So the room booked did not match the size of the family, and ended up in some discussions which are not the best when you just had a very long driving travel and you have...

"Right from the start the staff made us feel right at home - nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The facilities were great- especially the pool which was great to cool - off in. There were plenty of deck chairs to lie on both at the hotel and over the road at the private beech on the lakes edge. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay longer. We have been in Europe for 6 weeks now and this by far the best place to stay both for staff and facilities."
