The silence was only interrupted by occasional sounds of cows and sheep in the adjoining fields and the call of the resident pheasant. Diane was welcoming and helpful. Only two suggestions for her: a spot of milk, a bit of sugar and a few tea bags to accompany the very welcoming scones and clotted cream would have been great (and taking a plane to a couple of doors that don't quite open). "This property can allow you to have a break away from all the modern electronics that we have today. It gave me a feeling of being back in the 70’s, but it is a comfortable bungalow with an excellent view. The countryside provides for some excellent walking amongst sand dunes and along the seashore. The local natives are very friendly"

"Really appreciated the ramped access, the lodge is at one level. Suited us well as our son has limited mobility. Co-op just down the lane was great, we went everyday. We had a lot of rain but the terrace seating must be lovely in the summer. We still appreciated the incredible views from there, we just didn’t sit out. There were four of us staying and the living area was very comfortable."

Ilfracombe is a lovely area, with Tunnels Beach being a must to visit for a small fee! Plenty of great places to eat, Hip and Pistol do great food at a very reasonable price.
