"Property grew on us. When we arrived at 1:30 we were told we could check in early for $20 or wait another hour and a half. Out of principle, I opted to wait because clearly the room was ready, it was just a money grab. I don’t blame the workers bc I’m sure they are just following procedure. The rooms are clean, we used the kitchen to cook every morning, we used the grill on the roof next door, and really enjoyed the accessibility to the ferry. The parking is not free…we chose to park across the street most of the time. Overall, it was a good stay!"

"This is our second time visiting and it does not disappoint! Such a cozy home on the sound with amazing views of the Naval Yard and tons of active wildlife (harbor seals, sea otters, Bald Eagles and more)! The hot tub on the deck is relaxing and has a great view. The host has created a charming seaside escape within driving distance of many beautiful sights Washington has to offer. We would definitely stay again!"

Has no ceiling fans or plug in fans.No microwaveLots of spiders Noise: You can hear the national anthem in the morning and colors at night from the base. Not a busy road, but the busses are loud coming down the hill and there are many loud vehicles/cars that zoom by.Parking: Driveway is TIGHT, don’t bring anything larger than a small SUV or be prepared to park on the street. Driveway is also VERY rocky and unpaved.The barstools at the kitchen counter are too tall, therefore you cannot use them or sit on them to eat at the counter."

"The views were nice. The beds and indoor furniture very comfortable. Great space for a family or a large group. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. We went to Rotary park and got to see a couple grey whales- this is not the norm. It was pretty cool!"
