"Excellent location, great receptionists very friendly and helpful - Emma checked us in, she always greeted us with a smile so did the others . Sheets were changed daily and coffee capsules replenished. Walking distance to a lot of restaurants and attractions. We greatly recommend it and shall return when we visit Nice again, Oh you can’t beat crossing the street and going to swim! Amazing 🙌"

"Friendly helpful staff - arranged taxi to airport, held our suitcase all day as we had an evening flight. Very friendly & welcoming. Excellent breakfast - everything available from cooked eggs, bacon & sausages to fruit & yoghurt. Modern large room with sea view. Fantastic location - in the old town near lots of excellent restaurants & landmarks. Very buzzy area & felt very safe. Public car parks nearby if you have a hire car. Recommend."

"Gorgeous hotel, amazing location, staff was attentive, but requests were forgotten a couple of times resulting in multiple calls. AC didn’t work and supposedly we had a maintenance visit scheduled but no one ever came. Oh, well. House cleaning was top-notch. Even with a few hiccups we would probably stay here again. Recommend Rivoli rooms as they are perhaps a bit more modern."

"Nice was our home base for 5 nights to enjoy Eze, Monaco, Monte Carlo, Antibes & Cannes. Victor Hugo was a beautiful European vibe hotel, great location just blocks to beach, to train station, and so many restaurants all around - pretty church right across the street. The main street it is on is lined with beautiful trees. Rooms are simple but very good size as well as good sized bathroom & shower, mini fridge, cute little balconies, good a/c. Great full breakfast each morning is included, lovely outside patio to enjoy it on...they had a Happy Hour at night (we never made it to). They offer beach towels you can use, ask front desk. Front desk staff helpful and friendly. I would definitely return."
