Details like the hearty breakfast and opportunity to purchase handknit wool sweaters made by his grandma set this experience apart from our other stays. However the highlight was spending time with our host Siggy as we talked about sheep farming and Iceland's history. His warmth and deep knowledge about all things Icelandic gave us a greater appreciation for the country. "

"We were four women traveling together sharing one cottage. These were very cute both from the inside and outside. It was not too large or too small for four. The view outside was also very beautiful. We only spent one night. Compared to other places that we stayed at i had expected maybe some shampoo/soap and coffee/tea. But it was fine for us since we were there for only one night. "

"Clean accommodations! There is a brewery right across the street!! I had a little difficulty with the keyless pads but they did work. I walked to the airport and to the lighthouse. The mini market had lots of varieties of foods, children’s toys, and even ice cream. "
