Tenmile Terrace offers a peaceful retreat with easy access to ski runs and the charming Victorian town of Breckenridge. A short walk to the Summit Stage bus stop connects you to free, year round, and convenient transportation directly to the ski slopes and the quaint downtown. Upon entry to the duplex through the front door or heated two car garage, you immediately feel at home in the large, open, and roomy upstairs family gathering area. The living area is outfitted with comfortable furnishings surrounding a rock fireplace and flat screen television. The mountain decor and log cabin furniture throughout the house adds to the high-country ambiance. Just off the living room and adjacent to the dining area is the spacious gourmet kitchen trimmed in beautiful wood and granite surfaces. Conveniently located on the main floor is the large master bedroom and recently remodeled luxurious bathroom with walk-in shower. Access to the large upper deck is through the master as well as the living area.

The lower level continues with the theme of spacious, openness with its own rock fireplace, flat screen TV, and comfortable sitting area with plenty of space for the entire family. There are 3 large bedrooms downstairs including a second master suite with a fluffy log king bed and over-sized remodeled bathroom with Champaigne-bubble jetted tub and walk-in shower. The second bedroom contains a cozy log queen bed and the bunk room has a queen bed along with two twin-over-twin bunk beds – each bedroom with its own fully remodeled bathroom. Also downstairs is the custom pool table made from beautiful pine logs, a Foos ball table, and a large hot tub on the lower deck.

Did I mention the amazing views? Whether relaxing in the living room, tinkering in the kitchen, feasting in the dining room or waking up in the bedroom, the views are unforgettable. Tenmile Terrace is the perfect mix of solitude, comfort, convenience and sensory fulfillment. Whether you visit in winter, spring, summer or fall you are in for a treat. The mountain decor and log furniture give it a cabin feel while being comfortable and well stocked. A full kitchen has everything you would need to prepare meals including a full supply of spices. There is a drip coffee pot, Keurig, KitchenAid mixer, Vitamix blender, waffle maker, crock pots and toaster oven. I booked this house with some friends with the idea being to perfectly balance being reasonably remote, close to mountain hiking yet still close enough to town to be convenient for dinners and shopping. The house did not disappoint. It’s in a great location, it’s in excellent condition and the host was terrific. I have zero complaints.

We split up two work weeks on the road with a weekend in Breckenridge. Rather than our typical hotel we opted for the VRBO option and couldnt be more happy we did! What a beautiful home, with amazing views and easy and quick access to downtown. Our group is already looking forward to coming back in ski season!!!

Went with my adult children and one teen and had an amazing time. House was set up well for our group and very clean, spacious, and warm. Bus stop was convenient, and the views were spectacular. Host checked in and responded to questions quickly. Would definitely go back.

As the title says, this is a beautiful home with incredible views of the mountains and Breckinridge. The home looks relatively newish, or at least remodeled in the not too distant past. Everything inside is beautiful, clean, with a rustic vibe. The home is a duplex but we never knew anyone was in the adjoining unit. It's a bit of a drive up the hill (hence the views and the feeling of seclusion) but it takes just a few minutes to get down to town. Might be more of a challenge in snow. Hosts are great but we really had no problems to address. Oh, and the hot tub is awesome. Really, you can't go wrong with this home.

Took a family vacation to Breckenridge for skiing and other snow activities. Didn’t want to stay far from the main areas of town. This beautiful home was conveniently located close to everything in Breck, I decided to rent a car as opposed to depending on the public shuttles but i saw a lot of people using it. Anytime i contacted owners for assistance i was replied to in minutes. The home had more conveniences than any other Vrbo home ive stayed. I could tell the owners/management cares about your experience in the home as well as the town itself. THE VIEWS ARE IMMACULATE!! Highly recommended!

This is our second time to take our entire family (children and grandchildren) to spend a summer week. We absolutely love Tenmile Terrace -- it's quiet/peaceful and the view is amazing. The house is large, clean and has almost everything you can think of, especially the kitchen! A five to ten minute drive puts you in downtown Breckenridge to enjoy all the shops and restaurants. The owners do all they can to make your stay enjoyable. Great place to gather with family and friends. We hope to return sooner than later!!!

This place is amazing! Wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces, great hot tub, plenty of sleeping space. The owners were very responsive. The only issue we had was the alarm at the property went off twice as we were checking in, and the listed contact person (Mark I believe) did not answer when called several times. We finally got a hold of Dirk the owner to get it figured out. Great property though and we will consider returning when we return to Breck!

Our family met at this beautiful home in the mountains since we hadn't seen the youngest grandchild since he was born six months ago and to enjoy each other's company. Even though the weather was rainy and cold for the end of August, we still had a wonderful time here. There was plenty of space for six adults and five children under the age of 6. The house was well equipped with all the amenities you would need and plenty of items in the kitchen for cooking your meals. We had a wonderful time and look forward to another trip again as soon as possible.

We had a group of 8 for a 4 night stay in Breckenridge and really loved this gorgeous home. My daughter actually stated that she would simply like to stay and live there but then again, so would I. We wouldn't hesitate to stay in the home for our next trip to Breck. Everything about the house was exactly as stated and the views even better. The house had more than ebough space for our group with the exception of the dining room table as we couldn't fit 8 people around it which seemed odd for a house of this size. The kitchen was very well stocked and had just about everything we could have wanted. Everything in the house worked perfectly and the house just felt comfortable as if we were at home. The bedrooms were all very nice and the Master Bedroom was stunning. Kathy was awesome with her communication and returned my deposit within hours of checking out...very impressive! The directions to the house were very easy and check-in worked flawlessly. As far as drawbacks, if any....the bedding in the bunkroom had not been cleaned and we ended up having to wash the bedding prior to using these beds. Without being to detailed it was quite obvious that this wasn't cleaned and although only a minor inconvenience it seemed quite odd as other than that the house was spotless. We also didn't use the free shuttle bus as it really isn't very close to the home if you're lugging around ski equipment. I would estimate the bus stop to be between 1/4 to 1/2 mile from the home with a bit of an uphill walk to return to the house. This was a minor detail as it was less than 10 minutes to drive to the Ski Resort and it only costs $12 to park there. This is a beautiful and very well maintained home and anybody would do well to rent from Kathy. We were quite pleased with this property.

We spent many vacations in rental homes, however this was the best we stayed at. Our family of six adults and two grandkids ( one grandchild in a wheelchair) had a great time together at an outstanding home. It had all the conveniences needed for the week stay. We spent allot of time on the balcony with a magnificent view or in the hot tub. When inside, we loved the pool table and foos ball. When leaving we all commented about how much fund we had as a family. Thanks to the owners and manager for an outstanding stay.

We loved our stay at Tenmile Terrace. The home was beautiful, spacious, and had the most amazing views! It actually seemed bigger than the pictures indicated, and the views were the best we’ve ever seen in any vacation rental. We had plenty of room for our party of 6 adults and 4 kids, and everyone enjoyed the foosball table, pool table, and hot tub, as well as watching foxes from the deck. The owner had everything labeled so that we could easily find what we needed, and also had a binder full of helpful info about the home and local restaurants, activities, public transit, etc. The only improvement that could be made is the beds- everyone in our group agreed that the beds were uncomfortable and some of the pillows needed to be replaced. Overall, our stay was wonderful and we would love to go back! Thanks to the hosts for a great week!

The home is wonderful, the views amazing, the floor plan and décor extremely comfortable and the home is fully stocked. It is a duplex, so if each side has multiple vehicles parking is an issue. Our side of the duplex was restricted by the angle of driveway around landscaping and build up of snow from plowing along edges. My only issue is with house keeping. It is that it's the renters responsibility to wash all dishes before checking out ... and upon arrival, I felt the need to wash most every pot, pan and dish we used because they didn't meet my standard of clean. In an attempt to retrieve a hat from between couch cushions, I discovered a large amount of food/snacks under each couch cushion ... food items that our group did not bring with us. So other than house keeping issues, the rental was well worth it and highly recommended by us ... it's just a beautiful home.
