"部屋は広くてバスルームも良かったですが、ホテルの何かの機械音が窓の外でずっとしていてうるさかったです。何もない場所ですが、隣がスーパーマーケットで早い時間からやっているので、すごく便利でした。 レストランも美味しくて景色も良くて満足でした。ただ、人気なようで予約はしていくことをおすすめします。"
The Marmalade Hotel

"Very classy place. We loved our stay in Portree and the hotel was a positive part of the visit. I searched for the best sea scallops in the town and it just so happened that the Marmalade's restaurant was very high on the recommendations. So we gave it a try. Incredible! Super quiet and clean. Staff is outstanding. The walk up the hill is a little steep but it was worth being out of the main area for the quiet. Would stay there again for sure."
Bracken Hide Hotel

"The Hides were a perfect little private get away. The staff dropped our bags off at our Hide for us which was very helpful. The restaurant (reservation needed) was very nice, the lounge was comfortable and the drinks were excellent. Every staff member greeted us with a smile and was more than happy to help us with anything we needed. Lovely stay, highly recommended!"

"Charmant hôtel situé à proximité de la majestueuse rivière Sligachan. Chambre confortable. Nous avons eu un petit problème de manque d’eau chaude dans la douche, mais l’employée a été très serviable et a réglé le problème. Excellent déjeuner. Je vous recommande. Également de souper au bar adjacent (Seamus), bon repas avec une ambiance festive."

"Average room with nice extras like a local bar of soap and short bread cookies. Restaurant with two or three course meals and allowance for just starters. Full breakfast included in our reservation was adequate. The carpet and couch seemed old and soiled but overall it was a comfortable stay."

"Our family had such a wonderful stay at Knockenhooley Cottage. From the moment we arrived, Jason and Liz made us feel incredibly welcome. They are genuinely kind, friendly hosts who clearly care about their guests' experience. They took the time to share recommendations on places to visit, hikes to explore, and local sights, which helped make our trip even more memorable. One of the first things that greeted us was a lovely welcome cookie tin for our family—a thoughtful touch that immediately made the cottage feel like home. Throughout our stay, it was those little details that really stood out. The cottage was cozy, comfortable, and full of character. After long days spent hiking and exploring the beautiful surrounding area, it was the perfect place to come back to and relax. Having a washer and dryer available was a huge bonus and made a big difference during our trip, especially after hikes and rainy days outdoors. The location was ideal. There is a beautiful beach nearby and a small town just a short drive away where we could easily pick up groceries, fuel, and any essentials we needed. It felt wonderfully peaceful and secluded while still being convenient to everything we needed. What we appreciated most was how much the cottage felt like a home rather than just a place to stay. Jason and Liz have created a special place, and their hospitality truly made our trip. We left with great memories and would absolutely stay here again."
