To date still one of the best experiences of my life. An hour's lesson flying a Robinson R22. We took off from a small airfield near Brands Hatch motor circuit and spent the hour manouvering this amazing little helicopter up and down, through 360 degrees and even sat stationary 6 feet above the ground.

"Room was uniquely decorated and service was friendly. Shared bathrooms were clean, the carpets were more doubtful. Mattress could use an upgrade. WiFi did not work during the length of our stay. Entrance a bit depressing."

"It's nice a clean place. You will find everything you need close by: daily shops, pharmacy, restaurants and so on. And most importantly the train station is right behind the house. Furthermore, there are so many bus stops all around the building. I enjoyed a nice view from the kitchen. The owner was very kind and friendly. Definitely, I warmly recommend everyone who wants to delight a nice stay in London. "

"Everything was great, the only small gripe I had was that it took a long time for the hot water to reach temperature for the shower, even using the electric boost option. Host was really helpful and room excellent and spacious for a solo traveller which was much appreciated."

"This B&B is in a nice setting. Although it’s on the main road, it’s quite set back and the pub being just opposite this makes for a lovely combination. There is also a convenience store along the road if you wanted to get a morning newspaper etc. The room was very spacious which was nice. Just had to be careful of the beams. The only thing I didn’t enjoy personally was that the owner was quite headmistress like in terms of rules and what she wanted, which basically made us feel like kids being...

"The view was phenomenal. The pub down the road was great for fish and chips. Easy walk to Vauxhall station. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The doormen were especially delightful. The only problem was we opted for the eco friendly option of not having our room cleaned everyday. However, I dropped the remote and it went under the bed. Picking it up, I saw an inch of dust and instantly knew why I thought I must of caught a cold on the flight over. Housekeeping must swiffer around the bed and not under it! 😳 Otherwise, great stay… GREAT LOCATION!! "

"Nice clean room (120) lots of A/C and light controls. Good plentiful continental breakfast (no meat except for cheese/ham bakes which were nice). Good coffee. Great location 5 mins from Liverpool Street. Spitalfields right across the street."

A flawless family stay in central London

"From check-in to check-out, this was a truly seamless experience. The team at reception were fantastic—engaging with our kids and making them feel genuinely special. Our room was ready ahead of schedule, which was a welcome bonus. The location is excellent—just a couple of minutes’ walk from the London Eye, which made for a fun surprise on arrival. As with most of central London, public transport links were straightforward and convenient. The room was exactly as expected, with a fold-out bed already set up for the kids. Everything was clean, tidy, and in good working order. We hadn’t booked breakfast in advance as the standard rate was absurd, but once on-site we were offered it at £20 per adult per day with kids included for free. At that price, it was worth it—breakfast was decent quality and did the job. The shower deserves a special mention—hot, powerful, and stocked with products that actually smelled nice (a rarity in hotels!). Despite overlooking Waterloo station, the room was completely silent. Would happily stay again."
