"The area was gorgeous and the view could not be beat. We made fresh orange juice and lemonade from the citrus trees, walked in the vineyard and cork forest, and enjoyed the quiet. The downside was the drive- it was a bit far from town and needs to be driven in daylight- do not attempt at night (single lane, tight curves, no guardrails, very rural). The house was spacious but could use some upgrades."

"We had a great time in this lovely place hidden away in Portugal. We were a mixed group of friends and family - ages from 5 to 85. The facilities were excellent and the views were absolutely amazing. The hosts and Maria were incredibly helpful - Brilliant!"

"The tour around the town is really interesting, if you get the opportunity to do the private tour I’d highly recommend it, we even went into backyards to check on the almonds drying, and picked figs off the tree to eat. So relaxing and quiet. Dinner and breakfast in the Restaurant was delicious and the service brilliant, The apartment has subdued lighting which fits with the room but might not be enough for everyone, we would stay here again if in the area."

"We stayed at this property during the first week in October. There were 7 of us ranging in age from 40 to 73. The property is beautiful and has everything you need. Each bedroom has an attached bathroom. The pool is wonderful. There are not a lot of restaurants in the area, and you need to have transportation to get to them. We opted to have our host, Ana, arrange to have a chef prepared our meals for the 2 nights we were there…food with wine paring. The meals were fabulous! Think about this as...

"A wonderful stay in stunning surroundings. The views on the road from the villa to Peso da Régua are simply breathtaking. The villa itself is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is exceedingly well equipped with every appliance you can think of. The beds are comfortable and all rooms have air conditioning. The pool, although not the largest is ideal and there is a lovely shaded area and bbq. Having said all that, what made it the perfect holiday for us was the warm welcome, care and attention...
