"8 adults went for the weekend for a local wedding across the lake at Sojourn. That facility was booked up. The Bigfoot Lodge was a FANTASTIC alternative, and I would say even better than staying on site. The rooms were clean. The firepit in the backyard was perfect - wood and starter bundles ready to go! There is a dock with lake toys to utilize. We rented a pontoon boat for transport to and from the wedding across the lake - able to tie up at the dock without issue. The property manager was...

"This was a very clean "homey" hotel. More so than other run of the mill hotels. These guys had actual dishes, real coffee grounds, roku style tv, even the view out the back window was trees. It gave a real sense of home away from home. Wish i couldnt spent my whole trip at this hotel honestly. They really think out all you need for cresture comforts away fro. Home. I cant say enough good things about this place. Highly recommend!! "
