"5/5 – Comfortable Stay with Excellent Service I stayed at the Locomotive Inn in Laurel, MT on August 16, 2025, and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. We booked a standard room with two queen beds, and it was perfect for our needs. The front desk staff was exceptional, especially considering we checked in around 11 pm. They were welcoming and efficient, which was greatly appreciated after a long day of travel. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. The beds were soft yet incredibly supportive, and the pillows were just right — I honestly had the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a while. When I first walked in, I did notice a slightly old smell, but it wasn’t strong or bothersome and quickly faded into the background. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this hotel to others looking for a restful night in the Laurel area. Five stars!"

"So lovely to stop here driving across country. Quiet, very comfortable, right by the Yellowstone River. I stayed in one of the king rooms. Really well-appointed, lovely art, cool shower. It's all very well-thought out. A private porch, big windows looking out to pretty views. The owner is lovely to cimmunicate with. I thought I'd be late and called. They sent me excellent checkin notes. I suppose I had neighbors, but everyone was quiet. Special place!"

"A comfortable, very quiet, affordable and beautiful cabin to stay! The bed was verycomfortable and the kitchen and living room are excellent. It is located just 8 minutes from town by car. The only complaint is getting into the cabin to unload stuff. There needs to be safer steps instead of rocks to step onto. I would definitely stay again. I would definitely stay again. "
