"it is honestly one of the most beautiful places I've been to. I travel a lot and usually go for high-end hotels but the apartments in this motel are extremely pretty. I loved the retro vibe it is very spacious! Only thing is that the boutique and the restaurant are only open from Thursday to Sunday. I had a gift card of $20 with my stay, but I was there Monday Tuesday and Wednesday so I did not get to use it."

"The cottage is very spacious and bright during the day! It is private, serene and secluded where one can truly experience some relaxation, peace, and tranquility! We were a group of 6 friends and booked the cottage for 3 nights from Sep 17-20, 2026. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I would definitely recommend it! :)Some additional lighting at night, particularly in the living room area and the shower area, would be nice :)"

"We had a lovely one-night stay at the lodge. The scenery was beautiful, and the setting was peaceful and relaxing. I would give the cleanliness 4 out of 5. Overall, the lodge was clean, although a few small details could have been improved to make it feel completely spotless. Overall, we had a great stay and really enjoyed"

"The hot tub was amazing! Loved being on the lake in kayaks. The people and stores were very kind to Americans who don't speak French! We used Google translate a lot! Marche Richelieu the grocery store was VERY well stocked . As was the pharmacy. My only disappointment was the front window. The seal is broken so it was cloudy. It made looking at the lake on rainy days sad."

"Beautiful view from the house, deck and hot tub! Very close to Bowman forest with some great trails (the Panorama is a lot of uphill; L'Ange is less challenging). Decent grocery store in nearby town. We bought firewood right across the road from the Richelieu. Recommend bringing your own axe for splitting, as there wasn't one there. Try the soft serve ice cream with multiple dip flavours at Dépanneur Du Village Val-Des-Bois!The cottage and grounds need some TLC, but overall a comfortable stay."

"Cozy cabin 2 was well equipped and beautifully decorated. Bed was so comfortable, and the amenities were great. Water activities included kayak, canoe and SUP. The boathouse was just as described. There were 2 sets of stairs to go down to the lake with a beautiful view of the lake from the porch."
