"Perfect for the three of us, plenty of space, comfortable beds, everything we needed. We enjoyed the garden view and it was a very short walk to the ocean side and an equally short walk to the inlet side. Waihi

was a short drive away with a supermarket, cafes and boutique shops. The only drawback was that the 2 element stove was incredibly slow to cook anything but we were on holiday so not such a problem, we were thankful for a great BBQ."

. Property does have a steep staircase (as pictured) so pack light. Once you are inside, you won't want to leave. Perfect for a romantic getaway, lazing in bed reading or sitting on the deck enjoying a platter and a glass of wine. Very unique grounds to explore too."

Wonderfully set up for our family stay with everything we needed plus more (well equiped kitchen, kids books and toys and good supply of towels, linen and blankets) and heaps of character. "Its a great property this one, and its the second time the family has stayed there. However there are a couple of things that didn't work. The BBQ, one of the burners has completed rusted out. We love BBQing at that property. The other is the hot water. I think there might be something not working on the hot water cylinder.
