"Fabulous property in a gorgeous village, then minutes inland from the sea. The house is well equipped and beautifully decorated with three large bedrooms. My daughter loved the table football. Opposite a great butchers and almost next door to a lovely boulangerie and the local bar. Gorgeous French restaurant just past the stone church. And la terriere beach is a strip of golden sand fronting the Atlantic. Lovely relaxing holiday."

The house is an innovative, green build and how we should all be building houses these days. The composting toilet was a different experience for us - almost seems strange to flush now! "The house is NOT appropriate for winter rental letting. The main room's only heating system is the old fashionned fire place. The house is not insulated at all. There are gaps around the doors which we tried to block with our sleeping bags; there was no functionning heaters in any of the bedrooms. The first two nights stay the thermometer registered 8 degrees! The manager, Wendy Williams, promptly brought extra wood and elelctrical heaters. Unfortunately, the heaters tripped the electrical...

"Our party of 12 of all ages had a great break in this fantastic property. The layout worked superbly for 4 different families yet allowed us to come together for large meals together. The secure pool area was especially good for the grandkids. The property is close enough to the beach yet set in quiet countryside, so there is something for everyone. La maison est parfaite pour 14 personnes (couchages confortables, nombreuses salles de bains/toilettes, beaux espaces de vie, vaisselle, tables et chaises en quantité suffisante).
