Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Livingston Yellowstone
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is about an hour from the North Entrance of Yellowstone, which makes it a really convenient spot to stay. There are restaurants and gas stations nearby, so it’s easy to grab food or fuel up during the trip.
The bedding was clean and comfortable, and overall the room felt well maintained and easy to relax in.
It’s pet-friendly with a $50 pet fee, which is totally worth it if you’re traveling with a dog. Being able to stay here with my dog made the trip so much better. Overall, a really convenient and comfortable place to stay."
"I can usually count on the comfort inn to be stay- worthy, but sadly, this one did not measure up. The building seemed old, but it was clean, and so i over- looked it. For starters, the front desk clerk helped us check-in, but seemed preoccupied with some other matter. She was pleasant enough when finally put to the matter. But there was never anyone at the desk, you always had to ring the bell and wait. In the morning, breakfast hours, the front desk person was in the dining room, so more of the waiting.
The luggage cart BARELY fit in the elevator. The room was decent, no problems there, except that there was no fan in the bathroom, so the steam from the hot shower (which was REALLY NICE) left a layer of wetness on all the surfaces. BUT... the one thing I was really looking forward to; the pool / hot tub was a major disappointment; there was no hot tub and the water temp in the pool was way too cold, so I went to the fitness room instead. Overall, it was OKAY, we felt safe and slept good."
"The photos are very deceiving.
When you walk in the room and the same is overwhelming and then you see the ironing board first thing and a huge stain. Ick.
No screen on the window and I don’t think the window even locked. Found blood on the sheet- ummm, that should be a biohazard.
The night gal was eating when we showed up and had her dog (very cute)
The place smelled horrible, bugs all over the floor at the entry, how difficult is it to get a vacuum or sweep once a day. No- I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS PLACE. Two new hotels right across the street."
"Our stay was incredible. The online pictures of this home do not do it justice! The house is beautiful, the views are stunning and it is the most well-equipped property we’ve stayed in as a family! We had 5 adults, a teen and a child staying here for a graduation weekend and it was perfect. Plenty of beds, plenty of space to spread out, perfect layout for having a family gathering and tons of lawn games and fire pit supplies! It was also spotless with impeccable and quick communication from the owner. "
