"Room and bed were very comfortable. Great room was nice extension for small room. Reservation was a bit confusing working around a workshop. When I arrived reception said they were closed. Showed them my Expedia res and they moved me to another location. Was just glad to have room somewhere that first night. After driving all day I was a bit disappointed to have to find food and drive some more. After a break of several days, came back for 3 nights at the lodge and that was very nice."

"Nice set up for 3 couples. Well equipped kitchen. Unique location - babbling brook, stars at night. So exciting to see cattle wander through property! Close by- petrified forest is a must do and escalante outfitters had great pizza."

"I've been on the road full time for 6 years. For the first time EVER, every employee from the front desk on through to the store, deli, etc., was so down to earth friendly and helpful. Even Las Vegas resorts could use a week of training here on true customer service. Well done and it's so pleasing to know this old school way of serving folks still exists."
