"Stayed in the upstairs appartment which run the length of the building .Very well equipped with washing machine and a dish washer,a welcome surprise. The pool is in a secluded garden location. Negatives Our end bedroom had a strange en suite bathroom arrangement. A screen instead of a wall. A Jack n Jill sink taking up space that could have been used for a toilet and single sink. A bit odd!."

"We had a truly wonderful week in this property. In particular the facilities were exceptional - a full sized tennis court with plenty of rackets and balls, a clean, beautiful pool with ample sun loungers, table tennis, bikes, we were kept busy! Also the kitchen was superbly equipped for large groups with three fridges, all the utensils you could ever need, and multiple dining spaces inside and out. Sandra and Thierry were extremely accommodating and friendly, and responded quickly and generously...

"The house was beautiful, cozy and spacious and it offers a quiet and private get-away. Anne was very responsive to our enquiries and was quick to resolve any issues. Please note that there is very minimal wifi and bathroom towels are not included but can be provided for at a cost of £10 per towel. We had a lovely time!"

"The property is spacious and well furnished. We had a full house of 8 adults and two children and had plenty of room. The pool was refreshing and the expansive gardens had plenty of room for a kick about and some racket sports. The area is beautiful and the sunsets were a sight to behold from the patio. The morning mist over the valley was lovely. The house is a great base to explore the Dodrogne. We had a wonderful time and would definitely go again."

"What a wonderful house in such a beautiful location. We loved every minute of our stay! It is so peaceful, yet not too secluded that you feel cut off. Perfect! The pool is fabulous; large and clean, and very welcoming on hot days. The house is very well furnushed and has everything you'd ever need for cooking eyc. Lots to do in the local area too - we loved visiting nearby towns and markets, as well as chateaux and vineyards, and of course, canoeing on the Dordogne. Some fantastic restaurants...

"A lovely gite in a beautiful remote rural setting with a fantastic pool in an enclosed courtyard. The surrounding countryside is very picturesque but near to the pretty towns of Brantome and Boudeilles. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 (including 3 teenagers). "Magali and Manu were very welcoming and helpful. We were very comfortable in the studio, particularly since the thick stone walls helped the flat to stay cool in the recent heatwave. We enjoyed the garden, the pool, the peace and quiet and sound of the birds. We were impressed with the safety features around the pool. "The property had the advantage of a lovely pool (shared with other guests) which was fantastic as temperatures exceeded 35 degrees while we were there. The cottage was in a lovely quiet village and we purchased a lot of local produce from the Co-op cabin situated in the village square - well worth a visit. The property was ideally located to visit many lovely areas of the Dordogne such as Montignac, Sarlat, Domme and many others."

"We stayed here for the second time and had forgotten quite how good it is. It has the most equipped kitchen with every utensil you wish for. There are several fridges so for a large group it is easy to cook and have space for drinks. We loved our stay and are grateful for the thought and care that has gone to furnishing this house. The gite is extremely well equipped with all the extras you need including washing liquid, dish washer tabs etc. the bed is very big and comfortable with good quality bedding; my husband is 6ft 4 and he found the bed a good size. There is a great garden and private pool; great for us and our dog. The nearest bakery is a 10 minute drive but a van delivering fresh bread and pastries comes to the hamlet twice a week. "We (family of 4 with 3.5 yr old and 1.5 yr old) stayed in June 2019. The property is in a great location near to lots of lovely market towns and villages. Setting is incredibly picturesque. Communication with the owner before our stay was excellent - owners were very helpful with practical and local information. We arrived at the property quite late on a Friday evening. Checkin was easy but if you arrive late, pickup food en-route as many of the local shops and restaurants had already closed....

"Lovely views from the pool out across French countryside. Pool is modern, clean and good size. Some issues with the electric cover, but that was down to a failed sensor which is on order. House is lovely and unspoilt, we loved it. But for some the interior lighting might be on the dim side. This did not bother us as we were out by the pool most of the time. There are alot of steps to negotiate, some steep and narrow. Again, we were fine with it but worth noting. Overall we would highly recommend...

"We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."
