"The whole resort appears to to be run down and derelict. The swimming pool is empty and the whole place unkept. The room was recently refurbished and clean. We were cought out that the online booking said breakfast was included and then when we checkjed in the manager advised us that it was not and we had to pay an additional fee for the breakfast."

"Absolutely fabulous! What more could you ask for? Über friendly staff, excellent meals, food on request, and stunning rooms with a view from a hilltop. Lindi and Antony were particularly awesome. It is 7-8 chalets and a few campsites large. Advice for future travelers, turn off the tar road at the "Xhabe Safari 2km" sign at top of the hill and do not rely on the GPS. "

"Gweta Lodge was a perfect break point in our journey, we stayed two nights. The staff are super friendly and helpful. We had a lovely village walk one morning, and then enjoyed the evening drive to the pans visiting the Bushmen and the meerkats on the way. The facilities are good enough to make you feel relaxed and at home. We had a lovely time."

"Stayed two nights to sleep in & relax after two weeks on safari. Nice, private bungalos on the river. Perfect choice for kicking back. Be sure to arrange airport shuttle pickup before you arrive or it could be an hour or more wait. We would stay there again. "
