It would have been much more inviting if the hosts had the heater running prior to our arrival, but once the property warmed up after a few minutes the shock of how cold it was faded away. We stayed in the 1837 cottage. The accommodation is rustic, eclectically furnished and decorated, and gives an appreciation of life in times gone by. Tucked away down a funny dirt road, this place is THE PLACE you want to arrive to. Space, fireplaces, ability to cut wood, go and entertain in the openness of the kitchen to those relaxing by the fireplace of a very generous lounge area. This is luxury after a day's travelling.
