"The hotel is located in a perfect spot, central to everything in Botafogo. The room was nice, but the toilet was wedged in a tight space. And beware when showering the fluctuation between hot and cold when other rooms are showering at the same time. The staff seem to always be there when you wanted to ask a question or ask directions. "A cama é dura, tv só funcionava a globo, demais canais ficava travando, pedi um como emprestado na recepção não tinha nem de vidro, nem descartável, me deram um de papel. Pedi água quente para chimarrão só podem fornecer de manhã na hora do café, demais horários não tem como esquentar. Pedi arrumação do quarto e quando voltei tinham usado meus fones de ouvido Bluetooth e ainda deixaram fora do case. Enfim, no checkout foi só jogar a chave numa caixinha e nada mais."

"Die Vila Santa Teresa ist ein wunderschönes, kleines Boutique Hotel, dass sich anfühlt als wäre man bei Freunden zu Hause eingeladen (das Hotel hat nur 7 Zimmer - auf jeden Fall eins mit Blick auf die Stadt und den Zuckerhut buchen!). Die Aussicht auf Rio ist atemberaubend, das Essen ausgezeichnet und der Service hervorragend. "Great location, rooms were clean, with working air conditioning. We had a view of Copacabana beach and the ocean...food and drink reasonably priced in the hotel and plenty of local restaurants / bars which offer great value. No pressure to give tips and if you do, they are really appreciative."
