Motel closed when we arrived. Staff very rude no help at all no advance notice that hotel would be closed Motel 6 just lost a customer

Extensive remodeling prevented enjoyment of motel
Facility felt like a war zone, with construction taking up lots of the parking area, and the interior disrupted.

Clean basic hotel sheets were lint Bally towels were scratchy I used my own clean room a few spiders I had to get rid of clean smell in room not that I'm hiding anything but why does the cops sit there all night run plates for no reason always in the lot very nerve racking and would not give a 12:30 check out when it's only 30 mins extra

Stayed there because it was the only room available in the area. Room smelled like it was once a smoker's paradise.

Overnight stay - only few hours
Arrived at the hotel to find a police car parked in the parking lot with an officer inside. A security guard with a gun standing next to the reception while checking in. Did not feel safe. I had to think how can I safely move from my room on the backside to the car at 3am with three kids. Price was reasonable compared to the unreasonable prices in Boston.

Tom Bodett smokes?
This room WREAKED of cigarette smoke.Although billed as a non smoking room there were burn marks and nicotine stains evident. I was sorely disappointed.Tom Boddett would be ashamed of this room.

We accidentally booked a smoking room and there were no other king rooms that were non-smoking. Otherwise, as advertised. It was clean and just a very short walk to catch the train.

Would make a nice minimum security prison
Barebones rooms that don't even have a clock radio/alarm clock, no coffee maker. Bathroom is barely large enough to stand in. Floors are faux wood linoleum that are all peeling up in the corners. Everything was clean, just not comfortable. not worth the $110 a night. Would never stay here again.

People who work there are friendly. Rooms are on the dirty side but I don't blame the staff I blame the type of people who stay at this hotel.

Close but no cigar.
Facility aspires to level of a college dorm room which I'm perfectly OK with. On check in staff was distracted but otherwise OK. Room was clean but laminate flooring was starting to peel up. Much worse, the room wreaked of cigarette smoke (even though marked as non-smoking). I'm not just saying a bit of smoke but so intense that the smell stuck to my clothes even after I checked out. That may be a design flaw as the single window is sealed shut and the room has no means of circulating fresh air except for the built in heat/ac unit. I've stayed at others in this chain that cost almost half as much and were better maintained.
