"very nice surprise, a lot of history to the place especially if you are into the anglo boer war, Paul Kruger etc. Met the owner, Robert Forsyth, very nice and friendly person, full of knowledge about South African History. The room we were in was very spacious, it also included a sizeable bathtub. There are 60 something rooms in the lodge but they appear to be spread out as I only saw maybe a dozen which made the place very private. "The spa facilities were simple but the treatments were top class really relaxing and well priced. Beds were really comfortable the shower was large with a view of the pilansburg park. Rooms were luxurious and spacious. In room facilities were great with daily refresh of water, coffees, teas and biscuits etc...
