"The property is of a very good standard overall. BUT the grey paint could do with a touch up in the room. The corridor carpet to room 63 could do with replacing, looks like room service has dropped bleach near every door along the way. The shower has AMAZING pressure!! The dining area is very good inside and out."

"Booking this holiday with Expedia turned out costly for us, we booked this hotel as it was dog friendly but when we arrived and they saw our dog they was you haven’t booked a dog but there was nowhere to prebook on the Expedia site. We didn’t mind paying £15 per night for dog but they also charged us £20 per night for having to change our room "

"Stayed 1 night in September 2024. As a frequent traveller, I always ask hotels for a Ground Floor room, near to reception, as I have three heavy bags to carry. Usually this request is ignored, but on this occasion, the allocated room was ideal. Very helpful 👍 Good size room, nice breakfast selection. Lovely grounds. Only downside was the bathroom had no heating, and was quite cold. Overall, very pleased, and will book again. "
