"This booking was a disaster. Due to medical emergency had to cancel Contacted Hotels,com to say wasnt going and tried to get the booking deferred but the client would not allow it. The client is not the pleasant couple who own the property but a company in Holland with a 1 star reputation. On booking got a flood of e-mails and documents from Holland with a huge list of does and donts. The contract was with Hotels.com not some company that would never have chosen to do business with. Grove Cottage was charming with a lovely layout, fab TV, Alexa, a well quipped kitchen, lovely comfortable beds and bed linen. Honestly cannot fault this accommodation and we hope to return asap. I would love to know more about Mr Humphreys the original owner and the history of the building and garden."
