"Showed up late and the front office was empty but the nicest woman came running out of the dark to give us the keys. Amazing location and the nicest staff! Would totally stay again! The castle right behind the hotel is closed monday and tuesday i beleive and dont have credit card or tap to pay so bring some loose euro!"

"The room was well appointed. I wish the air conditioning went a little cooler, but that was a common issue in Germany (not specific to this hotel). The room was very clean. The hotel offers an expensive laundry service, where they charge per article of clothing. We were traveling for a couple of weeks and needed to do a load of laundry so this was not an appropriate option for us. I wish they had self service laundry. The closest laundromat was almost an hour away."

"Room was very spacious and clean. There is little to no phone coverage/internet that works very well but this seems to be a whole of Germany thing. The gardens are lovely and the room had all amenities needed."
