The place was somewhat hard to find - inadequate instructions. Finally, the place itself feels quite spooky, especially when other people aren’t walking around."

"The house was warm and comfortable, and very well appointed. The location, close to Sortland and recreational activities, but away from the main roads provides a peaceful setting to relax and enjoy the scenery and wildlife along Godfjord. Karin and Jorg were wonderful hosts, offering suggestions for activities in the area and sharing their hospitality and knowledge of the Vesterålen region. I will stay here again on my next visit to northern Norway."

"What a beautiful spot to stay! So peaceful and well located to visit this incredible part of the world. So beautiful and much quieter than the main tourist areas. The house was fabulous and had everything we needed. Our host was so responsive when we needed anything extra too. Rowing on the lake and spending sunny evenings in the outdoor lounge and hot tub was such a pleasure. Also lots of lovely fishing and hiking to be had. Would thoroughly recommend."
